Common questions

How do I delete my account?

In the app: Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account, then type DELETE. Deletion is immediate and permanent. If you can no longer sign in, use https://tavaragolf.com/delete-account.

How do I report content or block someone?

Open the menu on any post, comment, profile or tournament wall post and choose Report. To block a person, open their profile menu and choose Block; blocked users disappear from your feed, search, nearby lists and connection requests. We review every report, usually within 24 hours.

Why does the app ask for my location?

To find courses near you, show golfers nearby, and give you live yardages on the hole map. Location runs in the background only while the hole map is open during a round, and stops when you close it. You can change this any time in your device settings.

What are Tavara Bucks?

Play money for side games and skins between players. They have no cash value, cannot be bought or cashed out, and Tavara never handles money between players or for tournaments.

Is Tavara affiliated with GHIN or the USGA?

No. GHIN® is a registered trademark of the United States Golf Association. Optional GHIN linking, where available, stores your GHIN credentials encrypted with your consent so the app can sync your handicap; you can unlink at any time in Settings.

Something looks wrong in my scores or handicap

Scores and handicaps you enter yourself can be edited from the scorecard or your profile. Handicaps not synced from GHIN are estimates for casual play. Email us with the round date and course if a synced value looks off.
